During the week we had online sessions, helping us work towards making something in after effects and premier pro. While I have had experience in after effects, my knowledge of the program is still very limited so I valued this as an opportunity to dust off that part of my brain and practice those skills again. Because we were using the provided assets, it allowed us to focus on how to use the software over the art side of a project. This is something I wish they did with us in my first or second year of Games Art, as they never gave us a formal introduction or tutorial to any of the Adobe programmes, leaving me lacking in a lot of areas. I found the teaching in these sessions to be very beginner friendly as everything was broken down well and we were able to ask questions.
